Peter took the helm at Joe Cole Plumbing in 2022 when the company’s founder, Joe Cole, began his well-earned retirement. As President, Peter has focused on bringing in top-tier talent and enhancing training programs, leading to significant business growth. While modernizing operations — moving away from paper invoices and fax machines — Peter has upheld the company’s core values: a deep commitment to both customers and employees.
A Strong Background In Business And Leadership
Before stepping into the plumbing industry, Peter served as President of Delivery Dudes for six years, where he helped scale the business to 125 employees and over 1,000 driver-contractors before successfully selling the company. His career began at Comerica Bank, where he worked as a middle-market lender for four years, helping local businesses secure financing.
A Passion For Entrepreneurship And The Trades
Peter’s journey into plumbing was driven by his passion for entrepreneurship and his desire to help retiring business owners transition their companies to the next generation. After learning the ropes of business operations at Delivery Dudes, he saw parallels between delivering food and delivering top-notch plumbing service to South Florida. Since then, he has embraced the trades wholeheartedly, even apprenticing under the company’s top plumbers to gain firsthand experience.
Life Beyond Plumbing
Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. An avid ocean enthusiast, he loves spearfishing, kitesurfing and just about anything that gets him on or under the water.
